Parents, family members, teachers, students, administration and the community are all invited and encouraged to attend this culminating event.

Ballroom Says: “Be Our Guest!” May 24-25th

We wanted to personally invite you to the Ballroom Company’s end of year concert, “Be Our Guest!” There are two shows: Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25 at 7pm in the Timpview Auditorium. Faculty will receive 2 comp tickets for either night of the show. Please come support Timpview Ballroom!

Students Shine at Project Runway

In the final clothing event of the year 3 students from Fashion Design class were “Finalists” in the Salt Lake Community College “Project Runway”. We were very excited for them to be finalists. Last night Rachel Billings was awarded 3rd place in the contest. Genet Orme, Timpview instructor, was very proud of these students as they had ‘drafted their own patterns, then sewn the garments that they entered. Davis High was the only other school that had ‘drafted’ their own patterns.I am very proud of the following students. If you have them in class, please congratulate them.

T-bird Troops Provide Service

Over 100 students and parents came on Saturday to participate in
our 2nd annual Service Day.

We weeded like crazy (probably thousands of weeds), cleaned every
single desk in the school (which is about 2,000 desks & tables),
painted two classrooms, cleaned windows, cleaned the library and
had a great BBQ to top it off.

We would hope that if you have students in your class that
participated in service day (our old and new student government we a
large portion of that group) that you thank them for their time and
service.

T-birds Host Holocaust Survivor – May 17th

On Friday May 17 we are excited to announce that Emanuel Mandel a Holocaust Survivor from Hungary during WWII will be coming to speak to THS students and faculty in the auditorium. He will be giving his first hand account of experiences in Hungary, Palestine and final immigration to the United States in 1949.

The optional assembly held in the auditorium will start a 9:15 (4th period) and end by 10:15. If you would like to hear him speak but are unable to attend to the optional assembly Emanuel will be speaking at UVU on May 17 at 7:00pm in the Pope Science Auditorium. There is no cost for admission.

2nd Annual Timpview Service Day – May 18th

The 2nd Annual Service Day will be held at THS this Saturday May 18 from 9 am to 12. We will be painting the parking lot, pulling weeds and cleaning the desks in the classrooms. We invite all teachers, advisers,coaches, parents, and community members to come join us! Meet in the commons at 9 to be assigned to a project. Please come as a club, family or community member to make our school better. We will be having a BBQ at noon for all those who participated in the Service Day.
